About this blog:
The Wisdom Knot Blog is where I share written reflections on culture, community, personal growth, and the creative process. These essays are an offering, sometimes sharp, sometimes soft, but always rooted in a desire to reconnect with what matters.

Birthday Reflections: 5 + 4 = 9
Today, I turn 54.
Five plus four equals nine, a number of both completion and new beginnings. This birthday arrives in the midst of a tender, shifting season. I’ve experienced loss, transition, and deep uncertainty. But I’ve also been planting seeds, learning to ask for help, and remembering that we don’t survive alone.
This post is both a reflection on what this moment means, and an invitation. I’m asking for your support in helping me cross the finish line on a longtime dream: a home in Ghana that will become a space for rest, reconnection, and community restoration.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for being part of this journey.
